Our Scout section is made up of kids from the age of 12 to 15. At an important stage in their development, scouting helps to build their resilience and understanding. They rely less on their leaders and more on themselves and each other as they take on personal and group challenges. They each find their own path but move along together in the same direction.
Outdoor adventures play a big part in scouting, and the scout section embark on a whole range of camps, hikes, water sports, bushcraft and team challenges. There are lots of opportunities to join with other groups from the county and further afield, as well as trips abroad.
When do scouts meet?
Scouts meet in the den at 7pm on Thursdays for 2 hours. They also take part in many weekend activities as well as a week of annual camp.
